Anyone w/ experience w/ them tell me everything good/bad. Looking at a 98 35 w/ merc250efi's x2.

WOW this place is dead!

I seen stress cracks by the bracket transom.That's a big boat for the twin motors get ready for t craft speeds

I have not owned a 35ZF Donzi but looked real hard at them and sea trialed a few early this year because I am looking to downsize from my 38TE Fountain center console.

With twin 250's the 35zf Donzi's go around 60-63mph WOT and cruise at 42-44mph. Fuel burn is around 20-23 gph with Verado's and a lot more with the older 250efi 2 strokes.

I did own a boat with twin Merc 250efi's and can tell you about those. They burn a HUGE amount of oil and fuel. I get better overal fuel mileage from 3- 275 Verao's on a boat that is 6,000lbs heavier than I did with twin 250efi's on the small and lighter boat!!!!
Also the counter rotating engine will blow through lower units every 150-200 hrs depending how easy you are on the boat.
