I recently purchased a boat equipped with the above mentioned Autometer GPS speedo. It also came with the "tattle-tell" option.

Speedometer seemed to work great till last weekend.

It stays on 30 mph while underway.

The tattle tell still works and shows the historical highest speed.

The boat is a '01 so no owners manual.

Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like the battery is dead in the antenna. Send it back to livorsey for a battery replacement.

Don't know if this matters or not but it's an Autometer.

No problem. I had mine do the same thing last year. I bought a new antenna for a spare. Livorsey will fix the antenna for $75.00. They turn them around in 1 day. If I had know this I would not have bought another. Autometer uses livorsy antennas. They are probably made by someone else.
