The builder of my motor doesn't want me to use the Mobil 15W-15 that i was using. He says it's not the same quality it once was. He isn't trying to sell me on the oil he uses but did recommend Brad Penn racing 20-50. He also said he liked the amsoil 20-50 oil. Any thoughts?
Right now i have break in oil that will be coming out shortly.

Do a search on Hydorcruiser posts. Mobil 1 15-50 did change formulations from Red to Gold then to Silver cap. If I read things right Mobil 1 15-50 Silver cap is a good buy considering you can get 5 qts. at Wally World for 22 bucks.

I am not going to make an oil recommendation other than ..... if the builder is warrantying the engine, I would darn sure use what he says to
