Was wondering if you guys could take a look at these pictures and help me identify if these motors seem to have good parts on them. Ive only ever had stock merc motors and these seem to have a few bolt-ons. Unfortunately the dealer doesnt know much about the motors other than they are 509's and have 10 hours on them..
Any help is appreciated.

Look to me ,those are 750 supercat motors with drysump.
About 750-820 HP @ 7200 RPM.
Good luck with the B-max on that fountain.
Hopefully u go racing. Nice p3 or p2 boat.
Runs about 105 MPH.
Good luck and be safe.

haha, randy.. something like that.. The motors are only listed as "Twin CUstom 509's, 600 HP, 10 hrs."
if they are 820 HP, i doubt those drives are rated for that!

Actually, a friend of mine has the same motor in his boat on a B-max and it has 815 HP (dino) he ran the boat for 3 seasons now . Even at one point (at the worlds in 06) had a 1000 HP blower motor in it and still no problems with the B-max.
Basicly its a copy of a # 5 upper and a very beaved up bravo lower.
It will work.
I just dont trust them, but thats me.

There are diffently some upgrades on it. If they are not Supercat motors, someone still spent the $$ to go with dry sumping them. The BMax drives are diffently up grades to Bravos. I learned from my exprience when buying my raceboat and I WOULD NEVER TAKE THE WORD OF A DEALER OR FACTORY again. Pay to have the engines inspected and get someone to inspect the drives, gears, and gimbles. ALSO CHECK THE FUEL TANKS FOR LEAKS!!!!!!!!
