Ok so I have lurked around here long enough posted a few times but finally took the plunge. I recently purchased a 1988 25' seabold eagle . The boat is a definite project with a wasted motor and interior probably needs a new floor as well but i think im more than up to it . anyway will be posting more as things progress and will get soem pictures up as well . My main reason for posting is im going to be asking a ton of questions and i hope to to fall back on OSO for as much info as possible . will try and post some pics soon

welcome to the club , i wish i could say working on em is as much fun as driving em , but that would be a lie
but for every hour you put into it your an hour closer to skipping across the water and having people on the beaches and piers wishing they were you , its an awesome feeling
ask away , theres 10k people here who are more then willing to help , i'm one who answers the ones i know , and asks when i dont know , i nice give and take
what kinda power in the Seabold , get those pics up

I only have 2 quick pictures and i still need to figure out how to post them. I have to take more this weekend. The boat is equiped with a 454 and a bravo outdrive. The motor definitely needs to be redone , not sure about the outdrive but probably will just to be on the safe side.

best combo you could hope for , with a 454 horsepower is only limited by your wallet , and the bravo drive stock is good for 500hp , maybe more if you treat it nice and back off the throttle when the boat leaves the water , also not cranking the throttle from a dead stop
you've got a whole off season to build and tinker , your gonna have a blast next summer
