Default Looking for new blowers, any opinions?

I'm starting to do some work on a winter project. I'm trying to find the best way to go with Blowers. I know a lot of guys are going to PSI's which are an option for the, the only problem is they make the engine so tall you need monster scoops. I know there were some cool looking ones at the boat show but really don't want to be a Guinea pig again. If anyone has had good success with something that makes big power please let me know. I want unbiased opinions. I know some of you motor guys try everything!

How about the new 5.0L Whipples? I know Gary Taylor has a done a few motors with them recently with really good success.

What about something like this? Low profile and Tomcat tested it at Sterling at something like 1800 hp. http://www.rtechperformance.com/biggun.html

I agree with Patriyacht. The R-tech stuff is the real deal. Got a buddy of mine that was part of the original prototype and the boat/motor is amazing

Thank you for the responses. I saw R Tech at a show. I will call them today. The new Whipple may be an option. Thank you.
