hi guys as some of you know me i am from europe where the gas price is more then double i have gone to a dealer today for a donzi 35 zr 2006 somehow i ended up sea trialing a 2003 42 lightning with twin yanmar 420 s and arneson surface drives with 225 hours boat did 82 miles max and spend 12 gph each at 60 miles 2517 rpm it was great but a little slow on planning did easy 80 what do you say is good for europe ;;;;;;

This boat isn't by chance the old Taboo is it? what color is the boat, and where is it located? If that is the case, there is a few more MPH left in her.

2.5 mpg @ 60MPH!!! I not a big fan of fountains, but sounds like a boat that will be easy to live with.

amen to that. I'm lucky to see 1 mpg. i have often thought i could live with a sport diesel boat.
