Default CNY Area

Hey everyone, I'm new here so hello! I've read through a TON of threads on here and got a bunch of ideas I would like to do this winter, but the boat stays outside unfortunately. I was curious to see if anyone in the CNY area has a barn that I could rent some space in and have access to through the winter months? Something with electricity so I could use some tools and plug the heater into. My main plans are to remove my windshield and make a race fairing, and also prep the boat for paint in the spring. I believe the trailer length is about 26-28' total. Thanks a lot! I hope to make some new friends on here for next years boating season. 90% of my boating is on Oneida Lake and the rest is at 1000 Islands in late summer. I'd post some pics of the boat but I don't have any yet, I pick it up from the previous owner the end of next week, so maybe some then!! Thanks!

Jay

I bought an 89 Mach 1 2350. The motor is out of a 98 Checkmate, 454 merc. with bravo 1. The guy has all reciepts for it, re-powered 4 years ago. Interior is brand new from front to back. The main reason I bought it was because of the motor and how well it was taken care of, it's spotless and the guy was extremely picky with it. Took it out for a test ride a few weeks ago and it did great, ran 68 on the speedo, still have to check with GPS but was told it'll run 63 all day. Took the chop very well, 2-3 foots like a knife. Anyway, I just don't like the windshield, and after reading a bunch of threads on here about making a fiberglass one, I'm IN! HA.

Welcome! Try Craig's list in your area and search for "warehouses to rent", or some similar thing. Good Luck.

Check out speedwake.com there are alot of folks from CNY that live around Oneida Lake. I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.
