Do you use a trailerable type cover?
Iboats, overtons
Shrink wrap?
Indoor storage?
Etc.

indoor storage, just put the mooring cover on, throw in some of those absorbant pouches to take care of any moisture. make sure you give it a good clean before it goes in, and all it needs is a dust off in the spring. there is nothing better then a nice dry barn for storage.

My brother used the mooring cover with the cockpit cover last year and it wore the cockpit cover a bit.
Always nice to see what everyone else is doing. we are thinking of going indoor this year.
Still hoping for that one last really warm day.LOL

I know the feeling, my boat is at the marina getting warranty work done, and I told them to only winterize it if they thnk it is gonna drop below freezing. I am still hopeing for one last november boat ride, even if I have to wear a snow suit.

I can't do indoor, so i use a Gladiator boat cover and it seems to do well, I try to lay towels on the color gel coat on the deck (to avoid some rubbing), and use a ton of damp rid, I check it frequently and change the damprid often, The Gladitor holds up real nice... oh and if it snows I clean it right off... Wish i could store it indoors but doesn't look like it this year

Indoor seems to be the best way to go.
I guess you can work on it and dont have to worry about chafing and stuff like that.
It seems pretty reasonable locally at about $500 for the winter for my 26 rum runner.
is that in line with what all of you are paying?
