Whats the difference between a Sierra, Merc, & Hardin Marine High Performance Thermostat (140F) ? Also would drilling three holes it it make it High Performance.

The holes are only drilled to keep the exhaust manifolds cooler untill the thermostat opens if the is no other bypass setup No more or less performance.
