Default Truck & Trailer Stolen - Haulover Miami

My buddy had his White F350 and Aluminum Triple Axle Trailer stolen from Haulover Marina in Miami while we were in Key West.

Just an FYI, as we have been there for years without incident. Sucks!! All that was left was pieces of the window they broke to get in.

I think your going to find if you talk to the park manager there that there are more Fords stolen from that Haulover ramp than the sum total of every single ramp combined in Miami Dade County. There is/was an article floating around recently about that very scenario... nobody ever saw a thing in any instance, and it's a lighted and guarded ramp at night, gotta pay to get in as well, and no one ever see's a thing...

Holy crap. Seems like the corridor from Miami to Key West has become "Five Finger Discount Alley". Drives, trailers, trucks. . . we need the road warrior.

Sorry about your friend's rig. Hope it was well insured.

I almost always pull a bunch of fuses when I leave the truck/trailer like that.

Good luck in finding the truck and trailer. That's a tough find.

I took my truck and trailer out of there Sunday around 7pm. ish. A cop pulled me over 15 minutes later, checking ID's etc. He followed me to the Turnpike. He was following me from the marina, (he told me)
Where was your friends truck parked? there were some 350's when I left. May be we can get a time frame of a sort. My friends truck was there and he pulled his boat out on the next day.

And everyone carries a gun in fla. With all this stuff going off missing why people don't use a gps tracker is beyond me. You can get the zoomback tracker for like 200 bucks and have it call your celly whenever your shiz moves. Why ford doesn't use transponder chips in the SD's keys is another brain fart from ford. You have one in a 14g focus but not in a 55g king ranch. WTF.

I had to go pickup my trailer sunday night and when i got there i drove straight in and hooked up my trailer and droove out with not seeing one person. I was even in the parking lot for about 20 minutes. Not one person came to ask me if that was my trailer or to see my paid tickets. It was very dark in the back lot and i thought it was very weird that there were no security there.
