Thumbs up Jassman, get your Tickfaw Reservations

Jassmeister,

Only 54 days til the Tickfaw 200. Get your reservations at the Super 8 motel in Hammond, LA. We have ~10 boats coming in from Lake Charles to make the run. Should be a crankin' good time. With a 15-20 knot wind on the Lake that Thunder will smoke. Let's ride baby!!!

By the way, my wife and son will be in Gulfport at a soccer tournament this weekend. I've got to stay for a track meet with daughter.

Jassman, we, the Lake Charles crowd, have to spend the night on Friday and Saturday night although the run is only on Saturday. Usually can't drive home after that long a day. I forgot you should be able to trailer back to the house in Miss. so you may not need a room.

For ya'll(you all) Yankees, the Tickfaw is a rivah(river) and the Tickfaw 200 starts on thuh(the) rivah(river) and continues on to N'awlins(New Orleans), Salty Bayou, the nawth(north) shoah(shore) of Lake Ponchartrain and yes it is a lickedy split(friggin') good time sha! At no time are we north of Interstate 10 which means we are truly in the South. Youse guys come on down heah and we'll show you a good time.

PS

It is called the Tickfaw 200 because it is a 200 mile run. No pain no gain. Be sure and get all the bugs worked out because that run will find any weak spots in your equipment.

Jassman,

The route:

Tickfaw River(Springfield) into Lake Marepas up Blind River to Blind River Bar

Blind River Bar, back into Lake Marepas through Manchac Pass into L. Ponchartrain to Jaeger's (Kenner by the south end of the causeway)

Jaegers to Salty Bayou(Slidell)

Salty Bayou to Mariner's Village (Mandeville by the North end of the causeway)

Mariner's Village to Tchefuncte River (two stops up in the river)

Tchefuncte River back to Manchac Pass back into Lake Marepas up the Tickfaw River (obligatory stop at THE Prop Stop)

Up the Tickfaw River to Crazy Charlie's Fun House for Jambalaya, music and fun...........The End

Speed: You won't have to worry about it but definitely >50mph sustained.

Thunder!!!!!!!!!

I can't type anymore, the Master Cylinder 40's are dragging me down but I am fired up to see your ride.
