Default Top Speed?? 42X with T496's w/Bravo Drives

Does anyone know the top speed of the 2005 42X with T496s with bravo drives?

My husband posted this question below but it was included with another question and didn't get any response. Does anyone know the answer?

Thanks ...

I would want to know what Bravo drives are on the boat. If they are standard Bravo's and not ZX'S or XR'S I would be very concerned about the drives. That's a lot of boat for standard Bravo's.

Not to worry, remember you are only putting 425hp on each, less strain than a single has. now if they were 600's it would be another story.

That powertrain should have the Bravo X drive, that has a 450HP input rating.

If you are anything like your handle (speedfreak) your gonna hate that thing. 75 on a perfect day with a strong talewind and it will take you 10 minutes to get to that speed from a standing stop. Those are not the right engines for that boat - no way no how.

To be honest, a 42 at 75 is so stable, you need to get over 85 for that boat to give an adrenaline rush. But at 75 will be fun and smooth.

With a top speed of 75 what do you think the cruise speed is going to be - 45 to 48. Yea lots of fun - NOT.
