that is close i actually talked to that guy but he doesnt have to sell and said for less than that hes just going to keep the boat.........this is the one im talking about, the guy said the boat has been lightened up and with some prop changes it should touch 100........http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o24815-en.html

I think there are some definite deals out there for what your looking for. I think it will have to be an older model which will definitely need to have survey done for transom and stringer issues. A lot of guys are waiting for the market to turn and won't come off their price, but there are some out there tired of hanging on making that payment if there not paid for. Good luck in your search.

Re name that one high maintenance. Those drives were only rated for 700hp max by merc when they were new. Small shafts and hard to find parts for.

The engines are probably worth as much as he is asking for the boat though, so I don't see why yuo can't come out OK on it if it runs and is clean.
