I know it may sound dumb, I have heard threw some talk, on another forum, that this boat runs almost a 100mph.. You all think this is BS. It has a procharged 502, either gill or CMI manifolds on it, a imco lower... I find it a lil far fetched, what do you all think???

Well,ithink non of the 2 boats will ever run 100 because both blew up .

Ok,ok ,,,,,,,,befor,,,,,yes they would be capable of running 100 MPH,wy not ?!

I would think that it is pretty unlikely that it do 100. maybe if it had a triple digits super alpha it will though

Wy should it be unlikely ,,,,,, 3000 pounds 26 feet and 650 HP ,,,,,,it works,,,i did not say that they did that in the movie or that i would run one that fast ,,,,,but its posible.

There is suppose to be a couple of them around. One is or was in spring lake, MI. It stays or stayed (if sold) at Keenan marina in/out. It has a pro charger, header, ect... an older guy owned it and added the mods.

It runs low eighties with a bravo.

Stock they run low seventies so 10mph is about right with the mods.

100 is a big He!! no!

Well ,,,it says a procharged 502,,,it doesent say stock 502 or m-1 progarger,,, with a nice 502 10-1 compr. and a m-3 or even m-5 progarger ,,they will fly. Maybe not for long ,but it is posible.
A budy of mine (RUMRUNNER) 26 foot raceboat with a bravo,although around 700 HP carbed ,runs 90+ easy .And he is so crazy ,that they run that speed in 4-6 foot seas.

Hell don't know about the possibility of 100, I just want some of the shoes they were wearing....anybody that can stay on the decks like that...I GOTTA HAVE THEM !!!!
