Default underwater lighting

hey Jo, i saw program ship shapetv yesterday, and they had underwater lighting. A company called Ocean Led.com had a video of a boat with Pantera green lighting on while running that looked sweet. Just a thought, Jaime

Good looking lighs but drilling holes in a boat just dont seem like a good idea. there is a bunch of stuff in the general boating section about ocean led and that kind of stuff. also if you look up on youtube.com there is a bunch of stuff. look for one thats like 8mintis long about a poker run. they have a few offshores sitting in front of the bar and really draws people to the boat with the OceanLED brand.

I have experimented with some basic LED'd mounted to the swim platform stanchions so no hull drilling was needed and they looked good this past summer. I am in fresh non-conductive water though so this would be tougher in the salt water.

i know what you mean about drillin holes. i once had to drill four 1/8 in holes for a bimmini top in my new boat. It took about 2 weeks to drill the first hole after i had marked them, probably take 2yrs for me to drill below water line. Maybe recess them into the steps of swim platform and run wires through tubing. I like the green side lights on the new 28, and if you put more in the water at transom, it would look even better. There are some surface mouted ones also but mostly for the transoms.

We work with Ocean LED since they are based nearby in Ft. Lauderdale. They offer a wide variety of LED lights.
