I have receipts to prove that there is over $10,000 into the motor alone, and it was built and installed by a very repudable boat motor builder in my area. I am sure it is a nice boat but its hard to sell a 27' boat with that much motor. Your buddy would be better off, putting the stock motor back in and selling the custom motor seperate.

HAHA, I didn't word it correct, my point was a 27 is hard to sell with that much custom power, a 21 will be VERY HARD

I think these guys are telling you the truth. I tried to sell my Pachanga a couple a years ago...even ran it on ebay. Wouldn't even bring what I had in the motor.
