Default New Boat -New Questions 27 Pachanga

I just bought a 27 Pachanga. For a 20 year old boat, it's in great shape.

I do have a few questions:

It appears that there is a through-hull fitting below the waterline on the starboard side, under the water fill. Is it possible that this is from the factory? After doing some reading, is this the pick-up for the A/C? It appears to have a baffle--I could not put my fingers up into the opening.

Has anyone had problems with the hatches leaking? It appears that water leaked around it or it wasn't fully closed. If it did leak, is there an easy fix?

I think that's it for now--I'm sure I'll have more.

Thanks!

Thanks. I never thought of that. Is the sink on yours on the port side then? Mine is on the opposite side of the through-hull fitting (sink's on the passenger side).

Flamingo 32 - Thanks! It's going to be a very very long winter!

Does anyone have problems with their cabin hatches leaking?

Awesome boat.

I thought about that one, but I really want to stick with the smaller 22. Be sure to check out searaypachanga.com for more Pachanga owners.

Nice Ride I Looked @ Her Myself!! I Just Bought A 1988 P-27 And I Was Suprised That The Hatches Didn't Show Any Signs Of Leaking. Just Get Some Hatch Gasket And You Should Be Fine.
