We live on a fresh water lake (Tennessee River) when you Leave a go fast boat in the water for a few days and then take it out you have to use On Off acid cleaner to remove the green funk.
my question is should you apply something on the bottom after you are done.
Some people say that if you do the funk gets harder to remove.
Some say if you dont the funk collects even move the next time.
Does Anyone have a proven method or suggestion as to the best way to deal with River water funk on the bottom of go fast boats.

From: Omaha, Nebraska. Boat on the Mighty Mo! Longest river in the USA!
I have the same problem on the Missouri river but its not green
After seeing a post I tried this, while the boat is still on the lift I spray wax on the bottom and sides. Do not wipe it off just let it dry. It work well for me.
