Question What Happened to Outerlmits Super Vee Unlimited Championship Title ???

I looked at the SBI website and the Key West race results are not there ?

Did the OUTERLIMITS Super Vee Unlimited Championship get taken away ?

I just watched a video with Shogren's interview.

One of his most exciting moments in Key West was Outerlimits showing up with a surprise boat to run against Cat Killer.

When asked about the race he states "Fountain came out on top again".

On top ???

So did they in fact win the World Championship in Super Vee Unlimited ???

Go to the Video tape: http://www.performanceboats.com/

Overall of 3 Races:

Calculated points : Outerlimits Won

Faster Avg Speed Outerlimits Won

Most Distance Raced Outerlimits Won

Outerlimits is World Champion in Super Vee Unlimited

Now while looking at the speeds of the other 2 boats in SV Class 2, Why was there even a need for these boats to be split into two classes ?

apparently someone from one of the other boats was crying about having to race Cat killer and wanted to have the boats separate.

And it makes totaly sence,,,,,to sep. the big engine V's from the smaller ci boats.

Its like taking a beefed up nissan against a F1 car would that be fair ?????

It would have made more sense to have the guys with the slower boats run in the P-Classes. But looking at the avg speeds they were not that far apart.

Rules are in place for boats to be built to spec and fit into a certain class.

Supposed to be anyway.....

People building what ever they want and making another class.. Thats just what offshore racing needs. I cant wait till the day we have 48 boats at an event with only 1 boat pr. class.
