Vortec v/s non vortec intakes

Vortec v/s non vortec intakes
Is there any difference between those two intakes, part #'s seem to be the same on mercruisers but just wondering if there was a major difference, thanks for any imput, Marc

Are we talking small or big blocks? I know that there are several differences with the small motor because of a revised intake bolt pattern.
