Question What is a fair price to have rev limiters installed?

I have 502 crate motors with prochargers. After losing a coupler last season (at the dock thank god!) I think it would be in my best interest to have rev limiters installed. Boat is going to marina on Monday. What would be a fair price, parts and labor? Crane, MSD soft touch?

Would it help to replace entire ignition. Right now it is Thunderbolt IV, 1990. Is there any advantage to upgrade?

Thanks

Ken, you'd have to add at least an MSD cdi box to run their rev controls. I have 2 sets of MSD 6 BTM's, which are boost retards and ignition boxes for blower motors and 2 rev controls, although I think these BTMs take the little plug in chip that limits revs. I'll look. The setups are already wired into a Mercury harness. This stuff is all only about 10 minutes from you.

Thanks Dan but I am going to Typhoon Marine and let them supply everything. If there is a problem they will be responsible.
