Default What was the 1st Baja you rode in?

I was a kid, hell everyone here is a kid compared to Jay Spencer! Anyway I was probably in 5th grade & a friend of my Dad's had a 19' Baja sport. 350 with an Alpha drive.

The first ride was our 1st Baja, a 212 Islander. Fun boat as long as the water was smooth! Had that boat for 5 years. Now I've had a 25 Outlaw for 5 years. Most be time to move up..........

The first Baja I ever rode in and drove was an H2X in 1999 at the in water boat show at the Rusty Rudder on Lake Norman. We purchased a new 212 Islander at the show because the H2X was too expensive!

It was a late 1970s Baja jet boat around 20'. The first Baja that I owned was a 1987 - 174 Sunsport with a 205 hp V-6 that ran 60+ and that felt faster than 90-100 in some of our poker run boats!

First Baja I rode in was a buddy's 1986 Baja Fish N Ski 200 with an outboard, then I bought a H2X and then a 25 Outlaw.

I guess your 174 Sunsport would have to be my first. You should scan some pics of it with BOTH tow vehicles.
