I was astounded at the performance numbers in the August 2008 Powerboat mag issue. The factory estimate of 105mph was exceeded by 5.4mph. All the other acceleration numbers were equally impressive. It was the top boat in its class(one of the boats it beat was 2500lbs LIGHTER!!) and of the 11 boats tested I thought it had the best paint job.
Congrats to Jeff, Chris and the whole Lavey crew for this outstanding performer.
I can't wait to see what it can do with 850s or 1075s.

The only thing I would change is make it two feet longer for another set of bolsters. Every builder of offshore v bottoms has at least a 41'er(Apache, Cig, Fountain, Outerlimits, Nor-Tech, Saber).
I want to see the EVO run with the big dogs on the East Coast in some poker runs and I think it would make a great SuperV raceboat too.

Lavey measures their boats to true hull length not including "beak" swim platform, etc. I expect the 39 EVO is 41 or so overall. I would imagine that the other builders measure total overall length, not hull length in which case the 39 is a 41. Just a thought.
