What are the best heads for 500EFI's??? Already have bigger cams and the computer mapped.........

I'm not much of a mechanic but I'll chime in since you haven't gotten any replies. A lot of guys go with the Dart heads from what I've seen in various posts. I don't know what model or if there is a better brand specifically for the 500 EFI. I just know Dart seems to be pretty popular. Take it for what it's worth. My friend owns Octane Marine and has built a few engines. Check out his web page, he could probably line you up with something good. He has some cool pics of engines he's done. Good luck.

You will be restrited by the intake ,most people port the intake/plenum and buy the bigger throttle body,Ive seen them use the Iron eagles & AFR alum heads.

Mark at Precision Marine in La, has done a few of them,one was the bigger cam with Iron Eagles,made a dyno pull, then ported the intake was worth 20hp and then the AS throttle body ,then made 599hp


Id spend alittle more an just put a Whipple on it,it would be fine on a stock 500efi
