I am selling my 2005 32' Sunsation w/ tri-axle trailer. Just had a brand new baby girl....and changed jobs. This boat is one of a kind awesome, but I won't be using it enough to justify keeping it. I am offering some cash back to the buyer. Use the $$ for a down payment, to make the first several payments, or whatever else you want. Boat and Trailer w/ upgrades books for well over $150,000. I am asking only $117,500. Cash back amount based upon final negotiated price. I work with several banks and can help with financing if you need, and have average credit or better. 812.499.9318. You are advertising bank fraud so you may want to reconsider your sales technique. It sounds like a nice boat but you are leaving out all important details like power, warranty?, closed deck or MCOB. The next step is you should call a marine lender and find out what the current loan value is on the boat so you can be prepared when a buyer calls and has 10K to put down and plans on financing the rest (you can save them time by letting them know the gap between your asking price and the amount the bank may lend is probably significantly more than the 10K the buyer wants to put down).
Good luck in your sale and congratulations on the new job/ baby.

Mentalpause, thanks for your note. I want to sell my boat for $117,500. The cash back option is just an added incentive. I am willing to negotiate this into the deal if that's what it takes to get it done. I also work with several banks and would be glad to assist a non-cash buyer with any financing needs. Please spread the word if you know of someone in the market. 812.499.9318. Owner- John Z.

I started my banking career as a consumer lender, and have financed many boat/car deals done with cash back. As long as a loan customer is up front about the purchase price, source of down payment and source of income to repay the loan, the system works. Then the bank determines if the loan-to-value is acceptable, etc. Heck, whoever buys my boat may walk away with cash in their pocket to tag the boat, or buy gas or to pay off a credit card. It doesn't necessarily have to go toward a down payment. For serious inquiries on my 32' Sunsation, call me or provide your email address. I'll be glad to visit.
