My stock ignition on my 95 carbed 7.4 limits my RPMs to 4750. I think this is called the EES system? I tried to copy the “330 on Roids” build so my peak power should be closer to 5100rpms. I prefer to keep this ignition as it incorporates the knock sensor & will reduce timing if detonation is detected. Is there a way to disconnect the rev limiter on this system? I was told to disconnect the sensor on the flywheel but I think that is part of the timing advance system.

I would seriously consider using a different ignition system.
the module for your system is discontinued. the system was not widely used. there is no way to reprogram the limiter that I know of. Use somethng else. what you use is up to you. there are plenty of people on this forum to give you their opinion on which one. good luck
