Default Save F-cove!

WOW! F-Cove is one of my favorite spots to chill with my girlfriend and guests. Filling F-Cove with dredge material and sinking pilings to keep boaters out is really a low blow. I will definitely write a letter and send it to Council President Joseph Sangiovanni.

Pasted from article: "to use the deep lagoons as a dredge spoil site (which from their perspective is a "beneficial use of dredged material")" AND... "Powerboats would no longer be allowed entrance. "Bollards" - pilings put in various places much as is done on land to enhance security of some building - would restrict access to craft"

Wow this sucks, have been going to F-cove for years. Great spot to hang out, have partys, etc.

Absolutely rediculous, so many families and individuals enjoy that space. I don't see the harm in leaving it as is, I certainly don't see the advantage of closing it!

I'm not aware of anything new regarding F-Cove.

Here's a link to the Associated Press online news article:

I heard about a week ago that they put polls up in the entrance but called a friend that lives close to the F-cove and she told me that there is nothing put up yet. Not sure if they filled it in thought.
