Default 24 Pantera trl. question??

I have a 24 pantera I/O and need a trailer, found a good deal locally it is an ace alum. single axle. Axle rated a 6k and trl. rated at 5300lbs but owner says 23 max. lenght.. Would this work?? Hate to buy and make a mistake. Thanks

I wouldn't recommend it. Mine is a tandem, with a pair of 3500 lb torsion axles, and it tows great. I can easily run 75-80 mph down the highway with no worries.

The 23' is OK, but go Tandem, I got an all aluminum(including bunks and crossmembers) EZ loader rated at 5200 for around $3300 last year.

Single axle would scare me.
At least get a twin axle. If you have a blow-out with a single, that just sounds like a mess of trouble.

too small, bh makes an excellent point...
i once towed a 22 scarab a short distance on a single axle...one of my "not so bright " moments, it just wasn't well balanced. my 24 condor sat on the smallest tandem made, and it was a much better fit than the biggest single. I currently have an ace trailer ($3800ish new&delivered set up for the sutphen)...great stuff, but you should really go tandem

I bent an axle once (tandem trailer) on my 24 python. Probobly would have sent the boat sailing if it was a single axle. It may hold it, but if you hit a good enough bump or dip on the highway as I did it could really be a nightmare.
