Hows everyone doing with their motors out there? How many hours people got so far? any issues? Whats most hours out there now and when are people gonna do any refreshes?
i've got about 50 hours on mine so far (in 2 seasons, pathetic). only issue for mine has been my starboard side pcm limits RPM to 4200-4700 occationaly. Supposedly has something to do with the shift cable. Merc tech has made minor adjustment a few times.

Sold a set to a freind, ran hard for 100+ hours, nothing but turn key!!
We might refreshin at 200-250 hours. We will call Merc. when the time comes to find out what they suggest needs to be done!
Great power package!

I think merc wants them at 125 hours, at a little over 25gs a piece to do it. I would hope the 700 would get more like 250 to 300 hours since there such a mild motor. I ran a custom 600hp 502 for 5 years before doing a total go through and I had a posi lock let go once bent a valve but that was it for 5 years now its a 670hp and has 8 years on it so low hours and still fires up but I am going to change the springs in it if compression test is good just because of age. my new motor a 1050hp would need springs at 200 hours or more.
