Default snow damage and my dock

Pics from today, my whole dock went down along with 2 others. We are the older docks in the marina as 3 yrs ago, a snow storm took out the others which were replaced. So looks like US1 will be parking in new slip at some point. My lift is under there soemwhere.

Lake Monroe. Bloomington In.

13" of snow in 1 day, preceded by rain though. Only a few inches on the roof tops as seen in the 1st pic, but enough weight to push the dock fingers under on the new docks. Old docks just went down. Floats have just deteriated over time as they were the styrofoam type.

Is Indy that much warmer then northern Indiana? The lakes around me are all frozen. I boat on Lake Wawasee and they just had snowmoblie races on it the other weekend. Did any boats get damage to them?
