I just received new carpet from them this winter.......I thought the same thing until I received the carpet and laid it in the boat........looks great and fits well. I don't mind paying a little more for quality work.

Try Matworks (sp). They have templates for common boats and can just make them for you. If you have something not so common, they will send a pattern for you to cut and send back. They are very reasonable and do some very nice work.

These guys are the best in the industy. They do all the carpets for MTI and many others. They have done all of my boats. Their carpet has a nonslip backing., The work is the best!! The price can not be beat!
