Default Cascade to Flush Motors

Has anybody heard of using Cascade dishwasher soap to flush your motors?

Never heard of Cascade, but many folks fill the hose with a good squirt of Dawn before turning on the water.

If you ever get oil in your water on a closed cooling system from a bad oil cooler or heat exchanger it works great to clean the cooling sytem out. Just put in the water and bring the engine up to temp. for a few minutes. Then drain it and refill it with coolant. Milkskake is gone.

How could it hurt? Could be a great (cheaper) option to Salt Away.

Cascade comes in granules right? I don't think I'd want to put anything in granules through my SWP, be it brass or plastic.

It does come in liquid form as well. The good thing would be that it is low sudsing compared to Dawn. Don't know about flushing with it, but it would make sense since since salt is an acid and soap is a base. It would chemically nuetralize the salt.
