Gonna do stringers and transom.
Its gonna stink working around those knees!!!
Is it better to remove them and start fresh? or work around them.
After the glass work is done, new paint and everthing else.
I will be poting more pics.

dont bother with just cutting the tops off and trying to dig out the bad wood, it just does not work that well. Yes to do it right cut everything out, its really not that bad and in the long run you will be glad you did. Personally i would take everything out all knees bulkheads and stringers up to the first bulkhead. . . . . oh, remove the snow as well
looking at the photos again if the wood in the knees is ok you could just shorten them slightly right at that first bulkhead and do just the grid. What kind of shape are thay in?
looks like my 34 ScarabIII i have the transom and stringer out right now getting new everything.

Steve,
Let me know if you need any upholstery work done with your project. I am located in Laconia, NH, but cover anywhere in New England, and my work is the best you will find.

Steve,
Just let me know and I will head down and take a look at both of them. Weekends are not a problem, as that is when most people are available to show what they need done. I have a large enclosed trailer that I use for transporting interior parts as well.
Thanks,
Doug
