I just got this in an email. This should really change things quite a bit. I know several people that wouldn't go turbines because of the insurance issue.

It didn't make sense to me that they didn't insure turbines. They will insure piston powered boats that with STOMP on Arudas turbines but you couldn't get insurance on the slower turbine boat!

Stomp??? I know of two turbine boats that will be looking to prove you wrong on the Bimini Run this year.

What would it cost to insure Warbird for an owner with say eight years experience driving cats?

"Racing coverage provided by endorsement". What does that mean? Will Wozencraft insure turbine raceboats on the racecourse?
