Advertised for $320K in the classifieds - Hardly sounds like a deal for a used 42 with no paint in this economy.

Perhaps the pencil needs a little sharpening, eh Robert? 330k is a chunk of change, a man with that much in his pocket could be real popular in this market. The new fountain I looked at a year ago still sits, and is some 65 to 70k less as of a couple weeks ago.

My curiosity here would be why anyone would want to unload an '09 this quick. He!! the Miami show starts later this week to showcase the "New" 2009 models.

Sounds a lot better than $320K. I've yet to find a performance boat that appreciates over time so my philosophy on selling them has been to advertise them for pretty close to the bottom dollar that I am willing to accept. I've been calling on some 38 Donzi's and had one dealer tell me that they turned down 200K a year ago thinking it was worth more $$$ and they would now be happy to get $150K. I"m thinking, "You should have taken the $200K because you aren't going to even get the $150K in this mkt."

250K is ALL THE MONEY. And I would not jump at that.
