Default need help finding baja 250 sport/es windshield

i am trying to track down a windshield, race fairing or windscreen for a 89 baja 250 sport, some jacka$$ stole the one off of the boat i bought and i am having a heck of a time finding something for the baot. i may end up glassing one from scratch but i thought i would try finding something first. i know i am not the only one that has had this issue so if anyone has anything to offer for info it would be greatly appreciated! i think that the baja 260, 270 and 280 and the es models all share the same windshield. thanks!

Regalman,

I think that nobody wants to give you the bad news. But your windsceen was probably stole for one reason......You cannot get them anymore.

I have a 23ol, Hammer, and 29 Outlaw windscreen on-order with the vendor now, and I have asked about the 250/270 windscreen before with no luck. Believe me the vendor wishes they still had the tooling also. With new boats not selling, and so many old Bajas running around they would love to be building some old style parts. The 226/240 windscreen was another model that could still be a big seller, but the tooling is long gone on that one also.

with as much knowedge and experience you have Dave.....if you had the molds and tooling you could go into the boat building business

We almost bought a 250 ES on ebay for $3400 with no engine, and I was going to make patterns for the vendor to start making the windscreens again......We got out-bid by 50 bucks.

Default baja 250 sport/es windshield

I have a 250 and after replacing the windshield two years ago it was stolen. I have a friend that owns a window company. We made the replacement windshield from my old cracked windshield. He normally builds and installs race car windows but can make any window with an old one to mold from. We have found the right tint and size sheets to replace this windshield but do not have a good window to mold from. If someone has a windshield they want to sell or willing to send it us I will make your window for cost of material. If we can get our hands on one windshield we can make a mold and make as many as needed. If you have a old windshield and want to sell it or replace it contact me [email protected]

i also have a 3 piece windshield but it also has some cracks, but with that said... we still put it together was still able to pop a mold off of it that came out really nice on the boat! i am also thinking of selling it to someone else to make a mold.
