I am doing this at the moment,
I'm using a Holley Blue 110GPH fuel pump and regulator but am planning on upgrading to a Barry Grant 220 or 280 pump to feed the engine if I add more Hp later. The Holley Blue or Black will suit your needs unless you're over about 550hp I guess. You'll probably need a regulator though, I was looking at using a Malpasi rising rate regulator to cope with fule demand but the Holley will do for now. What carb / intake are you running?

i think i am grabbing a holley red pump, is it worth the extra cash to get the marine one, all it has is a vacume tap in case the thing burns up. i am running a carter 750 on a edelbrock performer intake, gil manifolds and i am working on a cam. any ideas for a cam??

I don't think a Holley Red will flow enough GPH for your engine at WOT. That's why I went the Holley Blue with the regulator, not too much more money, just better for tuning and peace of mind!
About that cam, everyone to a man on here seems to swear by a guy named Bob Mandara. If you type 'cam' in a search, you'll no doubt find his name about 1000 times. Just find his number and give him a call. I'm under the impression that he is a new age 'Cam Messiah.' He'll set you up right and apparently costs less than most aftermarket options anyway!
But to throw my 2 cents in, I'd vote for the Crane '731' cam to add some life to your set up, but then you'll definitely need the Holley Blue pump!
Best of luck!
