Default Close to putting deal together

I am close to finalizing a deal on a 39 Dragon. It is hull #1 and I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any differences between the 1st boat and any boats built after? Also any info good or bad would be appreciated.
Thanks

Good luck with it.

I would do a search here there was a lot of writeups here about their first boat.

I knew they had some problems finding the center of gravity on the race boat... There was one they tested in Powerboat Magazine that went 72mph with a pair of 525's, then they repowered the boat with 900 Teague's (I think) and it ran 110-115. And the ARPO race boat with staggered 525's who was very competitive in powerboat p1 ran 88-90(boat was without cabin). The boat is still for sale! http://www.boatshed.com/dragon_39-boat-52530.html

The Dragon boats certainly look good!! Good luck with the deal!!

I still like the boat.. but dont want to own one forever.. but if I could find a good price on a 525 set up I would look hard at boat three..

Or call Craig Barrie at Donzi. He would know it better than anyone.
