What else is there besides carpet for cockpit floors?
Whats the best route to go? We do so much swimming off of mine, its such a PITA to keep pulling the carpet and hangin it to dry and stuff. Whats the best way to go? Some sort of paint?

Carpet really is the best for anti-slip when wet. Just keep that in mind.
For other options look at Lonseal. I've used their Loncoin which I wasn't impressed with and their diamondplate pattern which I liked a lot better.
But yes paint is an option just make sure its textured.

You may want to check this out. I checked it out in Miami. Good product for a boat with high amounts of water exposure in cockpit. I am going to start carrying it in my area, but you can give them a call for the distributor near you.

It lists for $8 per sf, but you should be able to do better than that. You can put snaps in it just like regular carpet in areas where it may need to be anchored down. The website has quite a bit of information and links to another site for binding information.

I used this, comes in white, is nonslip, but does not hurt your feet. was fairly inexpensive to do yourself. The white is very white a looks good.
