my old man just struck a screaming deal on an 08 26 with 496 ho. boat is loaded up. it was a demo boat (3 hours on it) he is going up tomorrow to pay for it, pick it up in the spring.
i will be going to the bank to get the $$$ to buy his checkmate off him. so its official. cant wait for spring.

no pics of the boat, but here it is on there web site. colors are not our first choice, but i saw it in person yesterday, and i think it will grow on me fast, and while he isnt looking i might swap his ho into my maf boat. lol

yea, he has a 25 in florida, now this one, and im buying the 26 checkmate that this boat is taking the place of.
he paid a good amount less then the website.
he paid less for this 08 with allot of options and the big motor as he did for his 05 25. that boat he ordered tho, so the price was still good, but not as good as this, i'll say this, its a buyers market right now. thats for sure

Channel Marine is a good group of guys to work with also. I am glad they got the sale. I was up there tending to a litigation case a few summers ago. They could not have been more helpful. Congrats on the great find.

they said they own the boat for $61,8xx. he paid less then that. if thats really what they own the boat for.



he saw the boat this summer listed at 106,000 marked down to 80k
he offered them $60k they thought he was joking and sent him on his way.
i saw it at the boat show 2 days ago listed at $66k he sent them a cash offer they haggled a little, they met in the middle. he is driving up there now to pay them. i can say they should have sold him the boat in the summer for 60. lol

good news for me,even tho i am a big baja guy and always have been (we have had 4 of them and still have 2) im getting a deal on his old boat (which i like allot and have done allot of work to) that i can not refuse.
he is selling it to me for a good amount cheeper then im seeing any online for. and for the $$ i couldnt buy a baja or sutphen even close to as new or nice as the checkmate, so now im the proud owner of the 26 ZT. (well, proud payment maker on it) lol

its not something i would have picked, but the more i see it the more i like it.
i also think it will look unreal in the water!!!!

the interior to me looks hot, my girl didnt like it, i love it. it had all the flat color to it and the white isnt super whight its more a dul white. its very little and hard to even tell and the pics dont show it, but it looks real good.
im sure he will love it. any guess on speed with the 425 hp in it?
