Default Impeller broken?

How bad is this,

i bought a new 2008 fountain fever with 600sci, now this is what happend,

I would like to let my engine run on the hoose @ home, but the water did not pickup in the drive i let the engine run for about 40 seconds and shut it down,

last weekend i was in the water and again no water in the seastrainer man i tought wtf is wrong?

i finde out there was a airbubble in the strainer i pulld the lid of the sea strainer and yes the water start flow in the strainer and engine.

the waterpress is very very low @idlle the livorsi guage does not go up is this normal?

@ 3 to 4000 rpm;s i read on the livorsi guage 25 to 29 psi.

is my impeller F...t up??

any help is very very welcom!!

sorry for the bad spelling from this dutch farmer

regards Sake

Doesn't the boat have fresh water flush fitting on the drip rail in engine compartment? chances are the impellor is failing and if you decide to replace it Make sure that the housing is replaced also its made of plastic and very easily gets grooves in it and will suck air thru the outlet.

Temps and pressures running on the hose are often different than real water conditions. The header temps might go from cool to hot to the touch.

You water pressures at 25-29psi are fine, and even on the high side. If its lower psi than the other engine, then an impeller might have some slight wear. As long as none of the blades broke off and water temps are good, then it fine. I would order a spare impeller just in case.
