I am looking at an 2005 30' Outlaw that has 496 mags in it (375 HP). I would much rather have HO's, but if I can get this for the right price then I may go with this. My question is how much of a dog will this boat be with these engines? Will it even hit 70 mph? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had a 06 30 outlaw with mags. The boat was pretty quick
(73-74gps) in ideal conditions. I ran a set of Bblades labbed 28's that were perfect for the boat. The mags don't sound as good as the HO's do but it saved me $10,000 or so. It depends on what you want. Are you going to be satisfied with it? I personally wasn't.

One thing to consider, if you find something comparable with HO's for more money, you most likely will recoup that money when you sell it. The HO boats resell alot better.

If you can get a mag boat at a real good price you can do the Raylar & CMI package and have more power than an HO boat.

While this is true, it is relative, 30 OL, with 496mags is a great power package, now a 35 needs 496HO's or it will kill resale. A comparison is a 30OL with 6.2's yikes
