my baja 250 sports windshield was stolen by someone, i am thinking i am gonna build a wind fairing for it, has anyone done this before? my thoughts are to just take a piece of thin plywood and bolt it on in the shape i need and then mask off the rest of the boat and put a later of 2 of fiberglass over it, pull it off, lay a few more laters on, smooth it out, prime and paint. does this sound like it will work? only other thing i can think of is to find some sheet nylon and try to bend it to shape but i think that stuff costs allot and i am not entirly sure it will work right. any other suggestions, this is my last loose end to take care of.

I built on 5 or 6 years ago. Sort of the same process.
