Default 700 mercury engine life

does anybody know when a 700 mercury engine needs to have the top end done and also when do you need to rebuild the bottom
has anybody heard about the reliability of these engines?

Extremely reliable, and should change valve springs around 300-400 hours, full rebuild around 500 hours.
