I just picked one of these things up. It is KILLER!! I know there are others out there that are about 100 bucks cheaper but this model is totally wireless. No need to hard wire anything to your truck.
You slap the little magnatized camera on the tail gate, hold the hand held TV screen in your hand and back right up to the hitch.
The other thing I used it for is putting it at the back of the boat (while it's on the trailer) and backing the trailer up while parking.
This thing is ingenious!! Best 300 bucks you'll ever spend for a little piece of mind.

Yea, I've had back up cameras in the past 3 trucks I've owned. They are cool. And for 400 you don't get the head unit and the camera usually. But the main thing I like about this portable model is you can slap it on the back of the boat/trailer when you're backing into a tight spot. It's portabalness makes it more adaptable to different scenarios.

That head unit is a Pioneer Avic-D3. It's discontinued and last years model. They make several this year, and the camera is made by Exonic Electronics. Check you're local car audio shops....
