Picture is from St. Clair, 2004. I was a new fan to the sport, so I had no info on this boat, where it came from or what happened to it. If I remember right, it ran pretty good.

That is correct, it was taken from a double canopy to a single canopy. The boat is now owned by Bob Morgan in Lake Ozark Missouri he ran the Orange Beach and Lake Ozark OSS races in 08 under the name Bad Moon Risin in unlimited class. it is a 43 skater......one of the most unique ride charicterisics I have ever been in, it is very similar to the new Skater 388...very neat boat.

Boat was originally built by Skater for Patrick Patel and run as IN CONTEMPT in Modified Class. Pat leased it to Steve Neely who ran a Modified boat called OUT OF BOUNDS while that team was waiting for there 2nd Talon to be finished. After that the boat was sold to Dan Jackson and was called Extreme/Carlos and Charlies and was driven by Carlos and Charlies. This was the boat that Jack lost his life in at the Corpus Christie race in Texas. The boat later was bought by the guys that owned the Cat Can DO/ Baker Engineering Skater and they did the conversion that you see in the above pictures.

Yes Ryan is wsa blown over backwards on Barnaget Bay right out in front of Martell's Water's Edge. They were testing a new set of Sterlings that were in the boat as well and the tunnel tab switch was installed backwards. When Doug Lewis went to release the air being packed into the tunnel, it packed more air and then blew over backwards. The boat then went back to Skater and was repaired.
