Need some advice!! I have a large amount of torco mtf oil and what I would like to know is it is used in a number 6 drive and has a merc part number on the bottle , but has anyone ever run it in a bravo . better yet is there a chemist on here that might chime in on the subject. thanks for any help jerry.

It is faster in a bravo I have run it for years. People say it causes failure but I have had great luck with it. That is a old racers secret

I am not sure I would risk a drive using it in a Bravo. The Torco MTF oil (The spec for Mercury Number Six dry sump oil) is very thin almost like water. Mercury gear lube is a much heavier weight oil.
If want to get rid of the oil I will buy it from you.
