I've got a 42' lightning on a myco and I'd love to have it be a gooseneck too!

Here's some chatter about it. They say it would be better to either take it to a welding shop for the conversion or trade/sell it.

The trailer manufacturer might do the conversion for you.

I don't know of any kits, but the issue with the boat trailer is that you are going to change the dimensions and balance of the trailer. Better to just design it yourself for that specific purpose. Get you a welder and a torche and a couple buddies and get after it.

Good luck and look forward to seeing it.

Hmm...Going to go out on a limb here and say that post won't last for long. First off, holy bump batman! That might hold the record at almost 11 years. Second, generally advertising product without being a paid sponsor is a no go.

The trailer build/repair entity that I use to service my Heritage tandem trailer for my 29' Fountain changes standard tongue trailers to 5th Wheel or Gooseneck trailers quite often.
for Contractor's equipment trailers, RVs trailers and Race Car haulers.
He specked my Heritage trailer and said he could easily change it to a Gooseneck without disturbing the weight ratio and towability aspect of the trailer with the boat on it.
We did not get to a specific cost but somewhere around Cdn $2K - 3K depending on the type of material used, etc. Certainly under $5K
I just changed the brakes to EOH, upgraded the Bunks, LED lights, Electric winch and jack this past summer so held off on the gooseneck for now.
Will look at it again this coming summer.
