Texas Outlaw Challenge: Dockage
Accomodation for in-water has been arranged within the Kemah Marina alongside the west bulkhead of the marina channel.
This new access is reserved for Outlaw Challenge participants only, and 24 hour security is provided.
Thursday's Stampede Street Party will welcome all arriving boats on trailers to display their boats and rigs during the evening event.
In-water boat parking along side the Street Party in also available, and can be utilized all weekend if desired.
Friday morning boats can be launched at the newly rebuilt boat ramp immediately beside the Street Party area.
The Ship Channel is clear and safe, the ICW is clear and safe, Clear Lake is being boated on every weekend with no debris or damage reported, Topwater dockage and marina is new and dredged, Eagle Point is clear (on the way to Topwater), the Taylor Lake channel is being cleared this week, and the entire channel at the Turtle Club has been cleared by divers providing 25 new available slips for Turtle Club customers.
It's time to start enjoying the 2009 season!

The Thursday night Stampede Street Party in Kemah will be a Clear Lake first! (5pm-10pm)
Friday's Gambler Poker Run has 8 stops, but you only need to do 5 to build your poker hand. Collect your card tokens from the three stops in Clear Lake and boat to Redfish and Topwater to collect the minimum 5 tokens OR travel to Stingarees, and two stops in Galveston for the additional 3 tokens to improve your final 5 card hand!
...and don't forget the Outlaw Shoot-out on Saturday!
Participants are registering from all over the country.

Im just speculating here,, but I believe south shore harbor got in a pissing contest with the power boaters that they chained to the dock last year,, In my opinion it was over kill considering each boat that tied up for that 2 hrs ran up a bar tab in excess of $1000,, I like south shore,, but in this case I think its a case of poor communication with the harbor master.

What a bummer! I was sure hoping for good weather even so-so weather, but this is very dissapointing, This has not been much of a Blue Sky Spring, so far.
